Steps in Computer Software Testing

continuation...

Extreme Programming or XP: this is the most famous iterative process. The processes are performed by starting in small steps to the batch processes which is the older model of approach. The developer has to write automated tests. This is to provide concrete development objectives. What follows is the programming. There will be deployment of incomplete functional system for chosen users. At this point of activity, the practitioner would start on writing tests for each module again.

Waterfall Processes: There are seven steps to be followed in this kind of software development process: (a) software design, (b) customer requirements specification, (c) implementation, (d) integration, (e) testing and validation, (f) deployment, and (g) maintenance.

After the framing has been put up, software builders need not to change the foundation or base of a house. This is done when one of the steps mentioned earlier is finished.

Waterfall processes is the kind of software development testing that is performed only in high-risk projects. Since the process is done with utmost care, there will be no errors to happen such as inaccurate engineering activities (i.e. management and analysis of requirements).
