Computer Troubleshooting Tips (Part 1)

Nothing is really infuriating when shit happens. Shits such as having a computer with a monitor that does not show anything even when the CPU is running or a CPU that suddenly does not work are really frustrating and hurting. Aside from the internet and Google, thanks to online computer rental companies, they offer free assistance so anyone who avail their computer and other audio visual services can now access on information about troubleshooting the computer. Here are few tips that are worth keeping because they are proven to be effective and they really work in any case.

If you press the button and nothing appears on your desktop, you have to check the cable wire if it is properly attached such as the power cable. Secure if the socket is properly plugged to the power source or check the cable that connects your CPU and desktop monitor (video cable). The cable that connects to everything must be tightly attached.

Make sure that the keyboard is properly connected to the computer if you are starting from a button on your keyboard. Also, see if the surge protector has a reset switch. If you cannot see any reset switch, you are advised to replace your surge protector. Surge protectors without reset switch are easily prone to damage.

There are some cases in which the CPU is working but still the desktop screen shows nothing. You have to check if the desktop screen is connected to a power source that works well.
