Useful Tools in Cleaning a Computer (Part 1)

Cleaning the computer equipment is one of the necessary routine that a computer unit owner should do. Dusts and microscopic insects that might have trapped in any corner of your computer hardware can cause problems in the working performance of the computer. That is why it is recommended that cleaning should be done every day. Dusts may seem to be harmless but once they get accumulated in some parts of your computer, you will be having problems. For instance, if your keyboard which is the most often used hardware of the computer is not cleaned for quite some time, there are chances that some keys would not work anymore. Other cases such as mouse being filled with dust inside, the mouse ball won't work smoothly.

Several companies are creating products to help ease the cleaning. But these products are actually not "must-haves" in order to clean your computer easily. You can use some household items to clean your computer, the computer parts such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other "cleanable" parts.

Here are some useful tools in cleaning your computer.

(a) Cloth: This is the most common and the best tool in rubbing down your computer hardware. But paper towels are often used because they prevent scratches on the surface of the computer hardware such as monitors and others.

(b) Water or Rubbing Alcohol: Water or rubbing alcohol is necessary to moisten the cloth. This way, you are assured of dust-free cleaning result.
